the style issue

the upcoming new yorker features avedon's photos, an article on calatrava and sole sisters by patricia marx. the most striking section, in my opinion, is marc jacobs' profile with his half naked full frontal photo by françois-marie banier that can be easily misguided as an advertisement for raging stallion's (don't open) latest movie.

nytimes has already reported marc's grand transformation last year. perhaps this is how marc wants to show the world what he meant by everyone should aspire to in life - being shameless, but i still miss the chubby and math professor look-alike marc.
